Bahraini citizens abroad vote in runoff elections

Bahrainis overseas yesterday cast their votes in the second round of the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections.
They again exercised their constitutional duty to choose their parliamentary representatives for their respective constituencies.
The runoff polls included 34 constituencies, which were not decided in the first round. Voting started at 8am and concluded at 8pm as per the local time of the city in which the embassy, consulate or diplomatic mission is based.
They were held at 37 Bahraini diplomatic headquarters abroad as per the same procedures which were implemented in the first round.
