Interior Minister briefs ambassadors on security situation

Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries.
The minister briefed the diplomats on the general security situation and the ministry's efforts to maintain public order to protect all citizens and residents.
The minister discussed how the international phenomenon of terrorism requires joint security efforts and fast response with international strategies and legislation to limit the effectiveness of those crimes.
He confirmed keenness on implementing the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa through confident security steps, with the support HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and backing of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan briefed the diplomats on the security situation and legal procedures to maintain security and stability in Bahrain.
