Bahrain real estate sector ‘growing remarkably’

Bahrain’s real estate sector continues to grow remarkably, according to Chief Executive of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

He highlighted its steady development, thanks to the unlimited support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Mohammed underlined the real estate sector’s contribution to the economy, affirming the need for further initiatives to develop it and realise the citizens’ aspirations. The Chief Executive also expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for patronising and opening Cityscape Bahrain 2022 exhibition, which is considered the biggest real estate event in the kingdom held at Bahrain International Exhibitions Centre.

He also praised HRH Prince Salman’s patronage of MEA Proptech which convened on Monday at the Four Seasons Hotel. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the success of the first edition of Cityscape Bahrain which showcased projects worth BD893 million and through which seven major real estate projects were launched.
