Cityscape Bahrain, the region’s largest real estate summit and exhibition, concluded yesterday on a high note after extending by a day and witnessing a record 101 million dinars of sales.
The sales were through 40 of the most prominent real estate development companies, both inside and outside Bahrain.
Altogether, the expo offered 10,000 properties, including villas, apartments, lands, and real estate projects collectively worth BD 967 million.
The quality and diversity of the projects on offer also attracted tremendous footfall, with more than 10,000 flocking to the expo in about five days.
Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Authority, the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, and Higher Organising Committee for Cityscape Bahrain 2022, thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the royal care.
HRH’s attention, he said, has contributed to the promotion of Bahrain as a prime destination for investment in the real estate sector.
In this regard, he pointed out that the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, with its advanced infrastructure, will attract more and more international exhibitions and further contribute to the comprehensive development of the Kingdom.
He also hailed the real estate sector as one of the competitive sectors that support the national economy, pointing out that the Kingdom is “continuing to strengthen its pioneering position in the exhibition and conference industry.”
On the unexpected extension of the expo, he said this was due to the tremendous success and high turnout of visitors.
