Multilingual poetry session held at Indian Embassy

‘Khwabgaah: House of Dreams’ presented an evening of multilingual poetry "Sadaqtu Dosti Ka" under the auspices of the Indian Embassy as part of the observance of the golden jubilee of India-Bahrain diplomatic relations.
It was held on December 1st at 6:00 pm at the Indian Embassy in Seef.
The poetry session was coordinated by Mrs Anupam Ramesh Kinger, founder of Khwabgaah.
In the last five years, since the inception of Khwabgaah, the initiative has presented three houseful theatrical plays , "Main, Noor Bano", "Ram Rattan Hazir Ho", "Zill-e-Tabaahi " and an awareness event “I Do not Love Plastic”.
Additionally, 28 audio stories have been written and produced, which are all available on YouTube.
The organisation has also staged 17 live poetry sessions.
Khwabgaah is committed to keeping the flame of Hindi literature burning, according to Mrs Anupam.
Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava and wife Monika Srivastava attended the event as chief guests.
The event began with a welcome speech by Mrs Anupam, followed by a traditional lamp lighting ceremony.
The programme, " Sadaqatu Dosti Ka", which ran for about one and a half hours, featured eight outstanding poets from India and Bahrain, who recited their original poetry in English, Hindi, and Arabic.
Honoured poets invited for the session included Hameed Al Qaed, Mrs Nivedita Roy, Dr Nabila Zubari, Ms Parvinder Kaur, Mr Sudeep Deshpande, Mrs Fatima Mohsen, Ms Kaavya Ranjith, Mrs Manar Al Sammak and Ms Saira Ranj.
