Bahrain, Saudi to enhance infrastructure cooperation

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are committed to enhancing joint cooperation in developing infrastructure, road services, and city and region planning, by benefiting from experiences and exchanging engineering expertise.
Works Minister Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj met Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majed bin Abdullah Al Hoqail, on the sidelines of his visit to Riyadh. Al Hawaj reviewed with his Saudi counterpart prospects for joint cooperation in the road sector, provision of infrastructure requirements for cities.
He was briefed about the role of the Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in building roads and rainwater drainage network in tows and villages and upgrading the infrastructure. In the satetement, he hailed Saudi development strides, especially in the field of infrastructure and road networks, in addition to providing world-standard services top keep pace with urban development.
