Pupils present innovative projects at Bahrain Students’ Innovation Congress

Bahrain Students’ Innovation Congress - A first in Bahrain program provided the resident students to expose their dream innovation project in front of the public and receive appreciations.
The students participated in teams from the age group of 10 to 17 years at the event held on Saturday at The Indian School Bahrain.
The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India appointed Science India Forum – Bahrain to conduct the screening test.
Winners of this contest (Indian Origin) will participate in the National Children Science Congress held in India, every year.
This program encourages students to form groups of maximum two students and do a project, which is a study of a problem carried out with an objective of finding out a solution.
The result was declared by Chief guest, Indian Embassy Second Secretary Ihjas Aslam. In the official ceremony, Dr. Ravi Warrier (SIF Advisory Committee Chairman), Dr. Babu Ramachandran (SIF Advisory Board Member), Dr. Vinod Manikkara (SIF President) and Prasanth Dharmaraj (SIF General Secretary) attended.
Ihjas Aslam presented the certificates to winners, participants, project guides and judges.
The team leader of the 1st place winner of Junior and Senior Categories will travel to India along with the Project Guide to take part in the 30th NCSC being held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India from 27th-31st January 2023.
Their Lodging and Boarding costs from the time they land in Ahmedabad to the time they come back to the airport will be borne by the Government of India.
