As clouds in dense shades of grey covered the Kingdom’s sky yesterday, everyone waited with great anticipation to hear the sounds of rain to fill the atmosphere and provide a cool relief after the long hot summer.
The expectation remained high as the Meteorological Department forecasted an unsettled weather with a chance of rain with a very strong and may become thundery at times. Various social media platforms remained hyped up with pictures, comments and predictions of showers.
“I am keeping myself updated on weather changes through three weather applications on my phone where two are saying it will rain today and tomorrow, and the third says it will rain on Friday. I’m absolutely excited about it,” Melissa Cuthino told The Daily Tribune.
The Maximum Temperature recorded was 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum 21 degrees Celsius yesterday. While many are welcoming the pleasant weather changes with open arms, authorities ask the public to remain cautious.
