HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday hailed the services of the fallen servicemen, calling them “a symbol of pride and honour” of Bahrain.

“These servicemen faithfully fulfilled their oath, and their loyalty to the Kingdom has become a symbol of pride and honour,” added His Royal Highness, the President of the Supreme Commission for the Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen.

HRH said that Bahrain respects, appreciates and has eternal gratitude for the fallen servicemen, who had bravely and valiantly sacrificed their lives to defend the Kingdom and its citizens.

In this regard, HRH stressed the importance of supporting the families of fallen servicemen in appreciation of their sacrifices while chairing a meeting of the Supreme Commission for the Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen at Riffa Palace.

HRH pointed out that the “noble deeds of the loyal servicemen have been etched into Bahrain’s history, commending the efforts of the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard, the National Intelligence Agency, and all military and security personnel.”

These men, HRH said, are instrumental in safeguarding the sovereignty, security, and safety in support of comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness also praised the efforts of the administrators of the Royal Fund for serving the families of Fallen Servicemen.
