HRH Prince Salman orders immediate construction of nine East Hidd mosques

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday directed the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf as well as relevant authorities to complete the implementation plan of building nine mosques in East Hidd and to allocate the necessary budgets for the project.
His Royal Highness also directed relevant authorities to proceed immediately with the construction of a mosque for Al Julai’a and Umm Al Sawali neighbourhoods, while maintaining the current arrangements of the venues designated for performing prayers until the completion of the construction of mosques in East Hidd.
Steps

mmediate coordination is underway to implement the projects and allocate the necessary projects, the Minister added.
“The ministry is coordinating with the Endowments Directorate to start immediately the construction of a mosque for the Al Julai’a and Umm Al Sawali neighbourhoods, while maintaining the current arrangements of the venues designated for performing prayers until the completion of the construction of mosques in East Hidd,” he said.
Al Ma’awda expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to HRH the Crown Prime Minister and Prime Minister for his care and follow-up.

MP Ahmed Salman Al Musallam praised the royal order, and urged the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and the concerned authorities to start the implementation of the project.
He pointed out that the generous directives reflect the keenness of His Royal Highness and the prominent efforts of the government to meet the needs of citizens, especially in modern housing cities, and provide the necessary services.
Al Musallam affirmed the support of the Ministry and the concerned authorities in implementing the noble directive, and strengthening parliamentary cooperation in achieving the aspirations of citizens in terms of development in all services and needs.
