Royal directives for Bahrain’s ‘more prosperous future’

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks and appreciation from Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh for opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term.

The Shura Council head commended the royal speech and directives to specify national priorities in the upcoming years and chart the traits of a more prosperous future for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He pledged to continue the efforts to serve Bahrain and its people, promote the state of law and institutions and bring about further accomplishments.

He also pledged to continue the march of reform and modernisation led by HM the King to enhance development and consolidate the kingdom’s standing as a civilisational model of comprehensive growth and peace.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also received a cable of thanks from the Shura Chairman, who congratulated HRH on the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term of the National Assembly.

Al Saleh also commended His Royal Highness’ commitment to consolidate cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, in order to achieve the citizens’ aspirations and enhance Bahrain’s standing regionally and internationally.

His Majesty and HRH Prince Salman also received cables of thanks and gratitude from Council Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallem.

The Speaker hailed HM the King’s keynote speech and directives, pledging to continue national work, achieve royal aspirations and serve the nation and citizens.
