HRH Prince Salman hails servicemen and women for protecting Bahrain’s sovereignty

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, has commended the efforts of Bahrain’s security forces to safeguard Bahrain and protect the freedoms of citizens.

He also highlighted that their service is a source of pride which has helped Bahrain to attract regional and international events. He recalled the sacrifices made by the servicemen and women to protect Bahrain’s sovereignty and ensure its security.

HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with the Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and several senior officers and employees of the Ministry of Interior at Gudaibiya Palace.

The meeting took place on the occasion of Bahrain Police Day, which is celebrated on 14 December every year. His Royal Highness lauded the dedication of the Ministry of Interior’s employees to continue the Kingdom’s progress and their determination to uphold security.

Royal support

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla extended his and the Ministry’s thanks for the honor of meeting His Royal Highness on this occasion, commending the attention, support, and trust the Ministry of Interior receives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Interior Minister expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’ development and modernization plans. He also noted that the Ministry is keeping pace with the latest developments and utilizing modern technology to ensure the effectiveness of the Kingdom’s security services. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
