Three hundred and sixty-one inmates received Royal Pardon yesterday from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of Bahrain celebrating National Days.
The convicts released were serving jail terms in various cases. The kind royal gesture presents the pardoned inmates an opportunity to integrate into society anew and participate in the kingdom’s development march.
The Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates National Days in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne.
