The “well-being and success of Bahraini citizens” should be the priority of Cabinet members, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, told Cabinet ministers.
His Royal Highness also told the ministers to strengthen the priority sectors of Bahrain that provide quality jobs for citizens. This is extremely important “amid the unprecedented challenges the Global economy has faced in recent years,” HRH said.
There is a need to improve the efficiency and quality of government services, HRH stressed, pointing out that “satisfaction of Bahraini citizens with Government services is a key indicator of success.”
HRH Prince Salman said this as he held a retreat for cabinet members to discuss the workstream priorities, initiatives, and proposals in line with HM the King’s vision.
The discourse and exchange of ideas facilitated by the retreat, His Royal Highness said, will help mould the development framework based on the National Action Charter’s principles.
In this regard, HRH Prince Salman stressed his commitment to implementing Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 to build a modern, sustainable, and diversified economy. His Royal Highness further told the ministers that employing accountability, transparency, and responsibility across Government workstreams is crucial to safeguarding public funds and ensuring that resources are sustainably used.
HRH Prince Salman also reminded Cabinet members that fostering partnerships with the Legislative Authority and the private sector is essential to nurturing a prosperous future for the Kingdom.
