Bahrain on track towards optimising landmark achievements: HM King

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday affirmed that Bahrain is on track towards optimising its landmark achievements, strengthening its leading status and meeting the aspirations of its loyal people.
HM said this while receiving members of the Royal Family Council at the Al-Sakhir Palace in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Members of the council lauded the tremendous efforts exerted by HM King Hamad to enhance the kingdom’s relations with brotherly and friendly countries. HM King Hamad welcomed and exchanged with them congratulations.
Separately, HM King received the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, the Chairman of the Shura (Consultative) Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, and their deputies at the Sakhir Palace.
HM King Hamad expressed his pride in the top role played by the legislative branch to develop national action, strengthen the democratic process, defend national interests and fulfil the aspirations of citizens. King Hamad also commended the dedicated efforts of Bahrainis to serve the Kingdom in all fields and enhance its status at various international gatherings.
