Bahrain King's peace efforts hailed by Israel President

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was commended by Israel President Isaac Herzog for his efforts to foster the values of peace, tolerance and interfaith coexistence.

He also praised HM the King’s drive to push bilateral relations between the two countries towards further cooperation to serve common interests and support joint efforts to achieve regional security, stability and prosperity.

This came as His Majesty yesterday received a written message from President Herzog on the relations of friendship and cooperation binding both countries.

The Israeli leader expressed deepest thanks to HM the King for the invitation to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality.

He also congratulated HM King Hamad on the kingdom’s National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne.

President Herzog wished HM the King and the friendly people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
