HM King Hamad hails HRH Prince Salman for key role in Bahrain's progress and development

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his key role in Bahrain’s progress and development.

This came as HM the King received HRH Prince Salman at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday. His Majesty cited His Royal Highness’ “fruitful efforts” to bring about more progress to the kingdom, through developing all paths of government work, launching promising developmental and housing initiatives and projects aimed at achieving the best for the nation and the citizens, as well as consolidating the country’s advanced standing in development indicators.

HM King Hamad lauded the kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements that covered all aspects of life and reflected positively on the Bahraini people. During the meeting, they reviewed a number of topics pertaining to ways to further enhance the comprehensive development process currently witnessed by the kingdom in all fields.

HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr Rashid bin Abdulla Al Zayani, and Finance and National Economy Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, were present.

HM the King hailed the kingdom’s success in organising many specialised exhibitions and conferences recently, as well as regional and global events and sports championships, contributing to consolidating its leading position and prestigious reputation in all fields.

He also thanked the citizens and residents for the noble feelings they had expressed during the kingdom’s celebration of the National Days. On the occasion of the New Year, HM the King wished the kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity, as well as security, peace and stability to all countries.
