Crown Prince's visit to London
Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday held a meeting with the United Kingdom’s Defence Secretary, Michael Fallon MP at the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall, London.
During the meeting, Prince Salman highlighted that the two hundred-year-old relationship between Bahrain and the United Kingdom had led to close cooperation across a wide range of areas.
In this regard, Prince Salman emphasised the importance of bilateral military and defence cooperation between the two countries to ensure security and stability across the region.
HRH Crown Prince further highlighted the important role of the new British naval base in further bolstering relations and strengthening cooperation to address regional threats.
Prince Salman concluded by highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to further bolstering all levels of cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, particularly, in the military and defence spheres.
