Bahrain boosts ties with Russia, Nepal

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has emphasised the importance of further developing and strengthening Bahrain and Russian joint cooperation and coordination to benefit both countries and its peoples.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the longstanding bilateral relations as he received yesterday the newly appointed Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Alexey Skosyrev, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness welcomed the Ambassador’s appointment to the Kingdom and wished him success in his diplomatic duties. During the meeting, issues of common interest and regional and global developments were discussed.

Ambassador Skosyrev expressed his appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries to achieve common goals and wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, attended the meeting.

Steady growth

HRH Prince Salman also received yesterday the newly appointed Ambassador of Nepal to Bahrain, Tirtha Raj Wagle. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the steady growth of Bahrain-Nepal relations, emphasising the importance of further strengthening coordination and cooperation to advance common interests.

His Royal Highness welcomed the Ambassador’s appointment to the Kingdom and wished him success in his diplomatic duties. During the meeting, issues of common interest and regional and global developments were discussed.

Ambassador Wagle expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s commitment to supporting cooperation between the two countries and wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
