BDF is among most advanced armies: BDF Chief

The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) is making major strides and attaining wide-ranging achievements in the military, educational, combat and administrative fields, which places it among the most advanced armies.

This was emphasised by BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, while thanking His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for his tremendous support.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed noted the BDF has reached an advanced level of modernisation that matches that of the most developed armies.

HM the King yesterday received a cable of thanks from Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed, in reply to HM’s congratulatory cable on the success of the graduation ceremony of the 15th batch of officer cadets – the Al-Qadisiya Brigade, held recently at the Isa Royal Military College.

The BDF chief extended deepest thanks, loyalty and gratitude to HM the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, expressing deepest pride in the congratulatory cable in which HM the King had expressed admiration for the outstanding organisation of the graduation ceremony.

He wished HM the King abundant health and happiness, as well as continuous success in bringing about more achievements to the kingdom.
