The Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF)'s frigate, "Sabha", has left the kingdom to participate in Operation Restoring Hope within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.

Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa visited the headquarters of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force on Tuesday ahead of the frigate's departure. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, assistant chiefs of staff, RBNF Commander Commodore Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and senior BDF officers.

In a statement, the commander-in-chief conveyed the greetings of HM King Hamad, the Supreme Commander and his sincere wishes of success for the mission carried out by the BDF to defend legitimacy in brotherly Yemen.

"You embody courage and bravery in the fields of honour and heroism, and you set the example in loyalty to your leadership and beloved nation," he told them.
