Boost for Bahrain and Israel relations

Bahrain looks forward to developing joint cooperation with Israel and furthering bilateral relations across all fields to serve common interests, within the framework of the Peace Declaration and the Abraham Accords.
This was affirmed by Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani as he held a phone call with Israel Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.
Dr Al Zayani congratulated his Israeli counterpart on his appointment as foreign minister in the new Israeli Cabinet, wishing him success in his new post.
The Israeli Foreign Minister expressed thanks and gratitude to Dr Al Zayani and commended steadily-growing joint cooperation across all fields, stressing the importance of continued joint coordination to serve common interests.
They reviewed bilateral relations, stressing the importance of further enhancing joint ties. Regional political developments and issues of common interests were also discussed.
