Interior Minister hails successful joint maritime exercise

Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa attended the final events of the joint maritime exercise “vigilant guard11” of the Coast Guard yesterday.
The conclusion activities were also attended by the Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan. Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah was briefed on the preparations and implementation of the drill within realistic scenarios and security procedures.
He hailed the competency of officers, other ranks and participating authorities. The Minister also applauded their capabilities and outstanding performance in protecting maritime security and safety. He praised the success of organising the exercise annually to promote cooperation and coordination in the work field.
