Bahrain King hails National Guard's valiant and brave efforts

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has praised the valiant and brave efforts of the National Guard’s staff.
HM the King stressed that the National Guard has become a strong force in protecting the country’s sovereignty and stability and a dependable source of support to the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and to the Public Security.
His Majesty was speaking as he received National Guard President, General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and expressed his appreciation of the National Guard competence, progress and high readiness.
The meeting was attended by HM the King’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior National Guard officers.
HM the King asked the National Guards President to convey his greetings and congratulations to all the staff and his best wishes of further success.
Royal praise
HM King Hamad praised the joint National Guard and Pakistani Army military exercise Al-Badr-7 in its seventh edition, and stressed that it was part of the cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two countries stemming from their deep-rooted and robust bonds.
The National Guard presented HM the King with a memorial gift and a book “Royal Vision” that documents the achievements during the prosperous era of His Majesty. HH Shaikh Mohammed expressed his gratitude to HM the King for the generous care and unlimited support accorded to the National Guard and its affiliates.
Conclusion
The National Guard yesterday concluded the joint drill Al- Badr-7. General HH Shaikh Mohammed patronised the ceremony, which was held amid the celebrations marking the National Guard’s 26th anniversary.
The ceremony was also attended by the BDF Chief of Staff, Pakistani Army Director General of Training and Evaluation Inspector General Lt. Gen. Muhammad Chiragh Haider and other officers.
