HM King Hamad, HRH Prince Salman mark anniversary of Bahrain National Guard

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, promoted 22 officers of the Bahrain National Guard of various military ranks, marking its 26th anniversary.

Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Chief of the National Guard, conveyed the congratulations of His Majesty King and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister to the officers.

Shaikh Mohammed also issued an order to promote 589 non-commissioned officers, individuals and civilians of various ranks in the National Guard. The Lieutenant General congratulated all, calling to take these promotions as an incentive to exert more effort and achieve more progress and prosperity.

On the occasion, His Majesty and HRH Prince Salman exchanged congratulations with Shaikh Mohammed, hailing the role of the National Guard in protecting the homeland, along with the Bahrain Defence Force and the Public Security.

The Commander of the National Guard noted that HM King and HRH Prince Salman’s support has played a vital role in safeguarding the security of Bahrain and protecting its achievements. Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed reiterated unwavering allegiance to HM the King, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect HM King and HRH Prince Salman to continue leading the nation. His Majesty congratulated Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and all the affiliates of the National Guard on this occasion.
