Focus on people of determination’s success stories

The Bahraini Catalysts Disabilities Association (BCDA) has organised a conference entitled “Successes of People of Determination”.

Social Development Ministry’s Sahar Rashid Al Mannai and BCDA Chairman, Riyadh Al Marzouq, attended the conference, which was held under the patronage of Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor.

A number of NGOs and dignitaries participated in the event. Addressing the conference, Al Marzouq affirmed that the kingdom attaches great interest to people with special needs, being among the pillars of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in order to preserve and optimise their gains, as well as provide them with comprehensive protection so that they enjoy full equality with their peers in society.

She also commended the humanitarian and developmental efforts of the Bahraini Catalysts Disabilities Association. Al Marzouq also praised the theme of the conference aiming to open up wider horizons for people of determination, and highlight their success stories.
