Bahrain Foreign Minister opens Diplomatic Day forum

Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani yesterday opened the 2023 Diplomatic Day. The opening session was attended by senior ministry’s officials, heads of diplomatic and consular missions, as well as heads of departments and directors.

Dr Al Zayani congratulated them on Bahrain Diplomatic Day, which falls annually on January 14, hailing their dedicated efforts to support the Kingdom’s diplomacy, implement its foreign policy, defending its interests and building bridges of cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, in lince with the directives and farsighted vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

On behalf of the ministry’s personnel and diplomatic corps, he expressed honour at meeting His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday at Riffa Palace on the occasion of Bahrain Diplomatic Day.

Dr Al Zayani praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s directives to continue developing diplomatic institutional work. The forum will feature dialogue session with ministers and senior government officials to shed light on issues related to Bahrain’s foreign policy and diplomacy.

The minister underscored the importance of exchanging ideas, visions and aspirations towards achieving common goals and enhancing Bahrain’s diplomacy, noting work with Bahrain Team spirit to implement HM the King’s.
