The Philippine Teachers Association-Bahrain (PTA-B), a non-profit organisation under the umbrella of the Filipino Club-Bahrain, has organised a community outreach program to spread love and joy to the kids of AlKawther Society for Social Welfare in Saar on 7 January.
Nearly 25 kids of various ages came together to participate in the gift-giving event with fun-filled activities such as storytelling, origami, face painting, and parlor games.
The event was headed by the PTA-B’s Social Welfare Committee Chairs, Ms Gladys Ann Ramos, Ms Cristina Pascual, and Ms Desiree Brigola.
The community-oriented volunteers and participants enthusiastically held the program with their advocacies for a wider community involvement and are certain to continue to a greater extent.
This community-based project was not only filled with joy and creativity but also inspiring and immensely fulfilling in choosing a worthy charity to support.
Consequently, this is part of the proceeds accrued from the fundraising events hosted by PTA-B in December 2022.
Once again, PTA-B leaped the level of engagement in community service by showing love and care for the kids in Bahrain, along with the PTA-B members, volunteers, and sponsors who willingly worked together to go the extra mile for a cause that affects so many lives.
