Bahrain keen to maintain quality healthcare services

The sustainability of highly competitive healthcare services is the basis of Bahrain’s health system. This was emphasised by Health Minister Dr Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan as she participated yesterday in a meeting held on the sidelines of the Diplomatic Forum 2023.
Dr Jalila gave a presentation on the health system in the Kingdom and reviewed the National Health Plan 2016-2025.
Present in the meeting were Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Walid Al Mena, Chief Executive of the National Health Regulatory Authority Dr Meriam Al Jalahma, Acting Chief Executive of the Primary Healthcare Centres Dr Lulua Shweiter, diplomats and senior officials.
The ambassadors thanked the Health Ministry and all the medical crews for their efforts especially during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Heads of the diplomatic and consular missions also had their queries answered regarding issues pertaining to the health sector.
