EWA Bahrain to roll out new customer and billing services next month

The Electricity and Water Authority will launch a new system for customer and billing services next month to ensure hassle-free and accurate customer services.
The system offers a fully integrated and secure e-system, user-friendly bill, safe and easy access to information, unified complaint system and ensures adaptability to future changes.
The new system, EWA said, aims to elevate the quality of services and keep pace with cutting-edge technologies to ensure integrated and high-quality services. In addition to changing the bill format, the new system, EWA said, ensures transparency and accuracy in billing processes.
The authority has trained more than 1,000 employees on the optimal use of the system to ensure excellent service delivery. The new system also focuses on the next phase of development strategy or the digital transformation of EWA services.
EWA said it guarantees constant communication and extends effortless and easy-to-access services through the new system. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, head of the Electricity and Water Board, said the new system keeps up with the latest technologies and innovations and brings several advantages to customers.
“The focus is on upgrading all services and integrating other institutional stakeholders to automate EWA operations.”
