iGA Bahrain restores eServices after “emergency downtime”

The Information and eGovernment authority announced the restoration of all its services through bahrain.bh- the national portal, after a downtime extending to several hours.
Without specifying what actually caused the “emergency downtime”, igabahrain wrote on its Instagram channel: “Dear customers, we are back! All eServices and eGovernment channels are now available online.
You can benefit from our eServices via bahrain.bh/app or bahrain.bh.” bahrain.bh is aligned with Bahrain Strategic Vision 2030 and maintained by the Information and eGovernment Authority. The website provides informational, interactive, and transactional services and facilitates communication with government entities.
On Thursday, iGA said all eServices and eGovernment Channels will not be accessible temporarily due to an emergency downtime without giving any specific reason.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and strive to serve you better!” the statement warned. The General Directorate of Traffic, Electricity and Water Authority, Information and eGovernment Authority, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf, Ministry of Housing and Customs Affairs services are some of the services providers on bahrain.bh.
