Bahrain committed to boosting tourism cooperation with UAE, says Al Sairafi

Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jafar Al Sairafi has affirmed Bahrain’s keenness on boosting cooperation with the UAE in the tourism field.
She pointed out solid historical ties binding the two brotherly countries thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the UAE President His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Minister was speaking during a meeting she held in Abu Dhabi with the UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri.
The meeting was attended by the UAE Ministry of Economy Undersecretary Abdullah Al Saleh. The two ministers discussed cooperation between both countries and the overall issues pertaining to developing the tourism sector.
They also spotlighted bilateral cooperation in the exhibition and conference tourism field in light of the inauguration of Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, which is considered one of the biggest of its kind in the Middle East.
