His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation and denunciation of terror attacks in Paris, which killed at least 128 people and injured 180 on Friday night. In a message to French President Francois Hollande, HM the King offered profound condolences to the families of the victims and wished the wounded speedy recovery.

HM King Hamad asserted that such a criminal act contravened all divine religions and human values, expressing Bahrain’s solidarity with France takes to combat and eradicate terrorism.

HM the King also stressed Bahrain’s unwavering terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

In a similar message to the French President and the Premier, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa offered sincere condolences on the tragedy that left France in utter shock. Prince Khalifa expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity with the French Government.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent his condolence message to the French President, Francois Hollande.

Gulf countries condemn

Gulf Arab states, including Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, condemned the terrorist attack in Paris. “I wanted to express our condolences to the government and people of France for the heinous terrorist attacks that took place yesterday, which are in violation and contravention of all ethics, morals and religions,” said Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir.

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also condemned the attacks as “heinous crimes.” and said the UAE would “spare no effort... to fight terrorism in all its forms.”

The Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks, saying they “contradict all moral and humanitarian principles and values”. Abdellatif Zayani, head of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), also condemned the attack.
