The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) will organise a national competition for school students to produce a film about the "national flag", in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Executive Office of the National Plan to promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of patriotism “Bahrainouna”.

The competition coincides with the kingdom’s celebrations of the 22nd anniversary of the adoption of the National Action Charter.

BIPD also intends to implement training workshops for teachers on the content of the national flag and how to activate it with students, in addition to carrying out field visits to schools and activating the morning queue by implementing entertaining and educational competitions for students.

The events are part of the integrated national efforts aimed at translating the goals of Bahrainouna to cement national belonging and consolidate values of citizenship, as well as its initiatives, which exceed 100, on the ground.

BIPD indicated that the contest seeks to foster the values of belonging and national loyalty, consolidate citizenship among intermediate students, and spread the spirit of challenge and fair competition among them, through the production of a film that deals with the symbols of the Kingdom's flag.

It also asserted that the partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Executive Office of Bahrainouna and other national institutions enables BIPD to reach various social segments, especially youth.

The Institute emphasised the importance of its ongoing partnership and cooperation with the Ministry of Education to reach students of all ages and contribute to the optimal activation of the school environment as a platform to raise their awareness and enhance their values of loyalty and national belonging, in addition to introducing them to their rights and duties, which reflects positively on their behaviour and daily practices.
