We will never forget Bahrain’s help: Turkish Ambassador

Turkish Ambassador H.E. Esen Cakıl expressed thanks and gratitude to the leaders and people of Bahrain for their support and solidarity with Turkey amid the devastating earthquake.
Cakil said the immediate response of Bahrain in the aftermath of the quake on February 6 was a clear demonstration of the strong friendship and close cooperation between Turkey and Bahrain.
Bahrain’s humanitarian approach, Cakil said, has won the hearts and minds of the Turkish nation.
“I would like to express our gratitude to the Royal Guards for leading the search and rescue operation Sawaed Al-Gaith,” she said.
The ambassador also paid tribute to BDF heroes for saving a survivor from under the rubble 176 hours after the earthquake in Hatay.
She also praised the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) for raising more than $ 3.7 million in funds for Turkey through “The Day of Solidarity” telethon on Friday evening.
