The agreement was signed in the presence of officials from both parties during a special ceremony that took place in Bahrain.

The new facility, known as "Gauss Auto Bahrain," will be situated in Salman Industrial City in the American Trade Zone and have a 10-month development and operating schedule.

The factory will produce a range of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheel electric tricycles, and passenger vehicles, to be marketed primarily in Bahraini and American markets, as well as other countries throughout the world.

Construction and management will be handled by Marson Group, and GAUSS AUTO will provide technical know-how and practical knowledge based on its extensive experience in the worldwide electric vehicle sector.

"We are delighted to share this joyful news with our dear Kingdom, as well as our numerous partners and customers, and to open this high-quality and ambitious plant in Bahrain. "Through this project, we strive to fulfill the directives of our wise leadership and esteemed government in strengthening the national economy, diversifying its sources of income, and providing more job opportunities for our national cadres,” said Marson Group Board of Directors Ali Al Mattar.

"Through the Gauss Auto Bahrain factory, we are looking forward to establishing Bahrain as one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of electric vehicles and localizing this advanced industry," he added.

It will also be a conducive environment for building national expertise and will support Bahrain in achieving its ambitious goals outlined in its Industrial Strategy for the years 2022 to 2026 as well as the Kingdom's objective to having zero carbon emissions by the year 2060.”

Mr Al Mattar extended his thanks and gratitude to all government and private entities that provided facilities for the launch of this project, including the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the Economic Development Board. He welcomed the partners from the American company Gauss Auto, who will showcase their expertise and innovations through the project.
