Turkmen President ends ‘fruitful’ Bahrain visit

Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and his accompanying delegation, left Bahrain yesterday following a fruitful official two-day visit to the Kingdom.
The Turkmen leader held talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on bilateral relations and cooperation as well as the latest regional and international developments.
He was bidden farewell at Bahrain International Airport by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Ma’awda, the Head of the Mission of Honor, Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Deputy Chairman of the High Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, Muharraq Governor, the Bahraini Ambassador to Turkmenistan and senior officials.
Earlier, HM the King received at Safriya Palace President Berdimuhamedow as they discussed solid historical relations between both countries and growing cooperation in various fields. HM the King hailed the Turkmen President’s visit to the Kingdom, stressing its importance in furthering relations between the two friendly countries. President Berdimuhamedow commended development in Bahrain in all fields.
