Khalid bin Hamad Award from Dec 3
Khalid bin Hamad Award for Youth Theatre for national clubs and youth centres is set to get underway between December 3 and 14.
The high organising committee, headed by Youth and Sport Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder announced the decision that the first edition of the award coincide with the Kingdom’s celebrations of the National and Accession Days in order to add impetus to the participating theatrical works.
The decision was taken at the second coordination meeting of the committee which convened in thepresence of Director of the Youth Authorities and Centres at the Youth and Sport Affairs Ministry and Deputy Head of the High Organising Committee Nawar Abdullah Al Mutawa. Representatives of participating clubs and centres also attended the meeting held at Isa Town Sport Club premises.
