More than 60 teachers from 40 public schools and representatives from the Ministry of Education’s Curriculum department recently completed the “IELTS Train the Trainer Programme” organised by the British Council Bahrain and the Ministry of Education.

The programme aimed to equip teachers with the skills necessary to effectively prepare their students for the IELTS exam, which measures English language proficiency for higher education and migration purposes.

This training was part of the British Council’s larger initiative to support the development of English language skills in the country and to provide students with the tools they need to succeed in and beyond the classroom.
