‘Mesmerizing India’ raises funds for cancer society

More than 300 guests enjoyed “Mesmerizing India”, a glamorous evening of theatre and dance.
Chief guest was Bahrain Tourism Minister Fatima Sairafi and Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava. The evening was presented by Shaikha Huda bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa.
Famous Kathak dancer Manjari Chaturvedi and troupe dazzled with a sumptuous music and dance-based tribute to the pioneering women of Bollywood, called “Begums & Baijis of Bollywood”.
A donation was also made to the Bahrain Cancer Society. The evening included a curated Indian dinner served on silver-plated thali and retro music by Mumbai-based singer Rajessh Iyer and DJ Mani. Title Sponsor of the event is BEYON Money, while Power Sponsors are Alba and Lavender Home Decor.
