New Millennium School shines in World Scholar’s Cup Bahrain round

More than 650 scholars from 17 different American, British and CBSE schools in Bahrain participated in the regional round of the World Scholar’s Cup on 3 and 4 March at St Christopher’s School, Bahrain.
From New Millennium School, 80 scholars, in 27 different Junior and Senior teams, participated in the competition. NMS scholars brought laurels by winning first position overall in the Team Writing both in the Sr. and Jr. Division, 2nd Champion Scholar (Second Place Overall Student) and Challenge Subjects topper in (Social Science & Special Area) overall in the Junior Division of the World Scholar’s Cup, Bahrain Round 2023.
The students performed exceedingly well, winning 147 gold and 178 silver medals, and six trophies in different categories. First position in Team Writing (Jr category) was won by Meenakshi Viswanatha Pillai, Farhan Kaleel, Shashank Prabu Shankar, while Khushi Rastogi, Shweta Sonarikar and Devdutt Dinesh topped the Senior Category.
Jane Joel of Grade VIII won the Second Place Overall Student Trophy (Junior Division) and Devdutt Dinesh of Grade XI bagged Fifth Place Champion Trophy in the Senior Category among all the participating schools in WSC 2023.
All the participating teams qualified for participation in the Global Round to be held in London, Seoul, Bangkok and Qatar. Principal Mr Arun Kuumar Sharma appreciated all the scholars for following the school culture of “READ to LEAD”, which has led to the brilliant performance in the World Scholar’s Cup Bahrain Round WSC.
Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai and Principal Mr Arun Kuumar Sharma applauded and congratulated the scholars, parents and WSC mentors for this laudable achievement.
