HRH Prince Salman hails strategic Bahrain-UK ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, commended the depth of bilateral ties between Bahrain and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which continues to receive the support of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman noted the strategic Bahrain-UK partnership across various fields, particularly within military and defence.
This came as His Royal Highness received yesterday the Fleet Commander of the UK Royal Navy, Vice Admiral Andrew Paul Burns CB OBE, and an accompanying delegation, at Gudaibiya Palace. He emphasised the importance of furthering bilateral cooperation to achieve mutual aspirations.
Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Bahrain Defence Force’s Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, also attended the meeting.
