PINAY Ikaw Na! set to organise Ghabga night

Pinay Ikaw Na! (PIN), a Filipino women’s organisation in Bahrain will be organising a Ghabga night dubbed as “The Power of Equality’’ on 24 March at La Rosa Hotel in Juffair.

It is part of PIN’s 8th anniversary and International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations. The event is in collaboration with the Philippine Bahrain Caregiver Society and Alwali Training and Development Center.

According to PIN president Dinah Sta. Ana, the activity is being organised to educate, create connections, and inspire women.

“PIN joined the world community in celebrating International Women’s Day. It is also the time to convene for our annual assembly. But more than that, we wanted to be all together in order to celebrate the eighth anniversary of PIN,” Sta. Ana said.

At the group’s eighth anniversary celebration, members look to a future of continued service and advocacy for the empowerment of women and charity work in the kingdom. In a meeting held recently, which was attended by organisers, various fun activities were lined up.
