Pakistan Embassy holds blood donation camp

Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain, in collaboration with Association of Pakistan Physicians and Surgeon (APPS) Bahrain chapter and King Hamad Medical University, organised a blood donation camp at the Embassy premises on 20 March.
The event was planned as part of Pakistan Day celebrations to be held today.
APPS Bahrain chapter provided consultancy, and King Hamad Medical University staff conducted screening and collected the blood.
The campaign stared at 8am in the morning and lasted till 2pm.
Despite being a working day in Bahrain, a large number of Pakistani diaspora volunteered for blood donation with the spirit of helping the distressed patients.
Pakistani diaspora has always played an active role in the social and humanitarian services.
They act as a bridge between two friendly countries.
Their gesture for donating blood is yet another testimony of their profound love for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
