Tamkeen, the Labour Fund, is gearing up to launch pre-acceleration or incubation programmes to assist Bahraini businesses that have been operational for less than three years.

According to Tamkeen, the project aims to provide businesses with access to mentorship, product development support and expertise, and prototyping facilities.

Tamkeen will also help businesses in meeting product deliverables and provide business development support through partnerships with renowned incubators.

These efforts are aimed at strengthening and further developing Bahrain's national economy while also benefiting the private sector and national workforce.

Currently, Tamkeen is seeking advisory services for the two different programmes through the Request for Proposal.

Interested parties must submit their bids before May 10th, 2023, and must be accompanied by a BD100 bond with a validity of 180 days.

The tender board will open the bids on May 11th, 2023.

It’s worth knowing that Tamkeen has invested BHD 2 billion since its inception in 2006 to improve funding opportunities for the private sector, particularly SMEs, and support the training and employment of Bahraini individuals, both directly and indirectly.

Additionally, Tamkeen offers programmes that can help job seekers pursue entrepreneurship as a career choice by providing guidance and financial support.
