Bahrain keen to enhance ICT government services

The Interior Ministry’s Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology is committed to reinforcing national efforts to enhance ICT government services.
It is part of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to achieve the strategic goal of the comprehensive digital transformation.
Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, yesterday chaired the committee meeting, in the presence of the panel members.
After approving the minutes of the previous meeting, the Ministerial Committee reviewed several topics on the agenda, including the developments of the digital economy strategy and its reliance on e-transactions, which would enhance investments and economic activities, in terms of speed of completion and adoption of modern systems.
