Ruqaya Muhammad Eid was blessed with a rare gift. Right from her Kindergarten days, she was able to recite Quranic surahs and chants with flawless accuracy.
Her father was quick to recognize her gift of photographic memory and nurtured it. Thanks to his efforts, at just the age of eight, this third-grader from Saar Elementary School for Girls, has claimed several prestigious awards with her skills.
She has won over 15 top prizes including the “Young Writer” competition, the “A Day in Patriotism” competition, and the Poetry Recitation Competition organized by the Directorate of Community Partnership.
For Eid, these achievements stand out as her top accomplishments so far, and she credits her father for recognizing her talent early on. Eid was supported in her journey by talent specialist Ibtisam Al-Fardan.
