The Ministry of Education has dismissed rumours that a private school had prevented its students from performing noon prayers, calling the reports baseless.
In a statement, the ministry revealed that its private education licensing directorates had conducted an investigation into the matter.
The statement further explained that students could perform the noon prayers at their homes itself since school ends before that time. The ministry also confirmed that no prior violations had been reported against the school in question.
The statement emphasised that the school has the right to file a complaint against the false accusations levelled against it.
