Bahrain, Jordan leaders support all efforts to resolve regional conflicts

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Jordan King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein yesterday put their weight behind all efforts aimed at finding permanent solutions to crises hurting the region.
Their majesties said this while emphasising the importance of consolidating the foundations of security and stability and achieving development, peace and prosperity for the people in the region.
This came as HM King and King Abdullah held talks yesterday on boosting bilateral ties at Sakhir Palace.
In this regard, HM King praised Jordan’s pivotal role in defending Arab interests and advancing joint pan-Arab action.
HM also hailed Jordan for championing just causes, especially the Palestinian issue.
Discussions also focused on boosting bilateral ties, and joint works in all fields.
The meeting was in the presence of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Hashem bin Abdulla II, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Charitable Trust, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Jordanian monarch thanked His Majesty for the warm reception, stressing the pride of Jordan and its people in the firm ties it has with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Later, HM the King hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of King Abdullah II before bidding farewell to the Jordanian monarch and his accompanying delegation.
Earlier, upon arrival, King Abdulla II, accompanied by HRH Prince Hashem bin Abdulla II, were received by HM King.
