Cooperation key to promote educational tourism: Bahrain minister

A meeting was held to discuss the importance of cooperation between the Tourism Ministry and higher education sectors to promote educational tourism in Bahrain.
This came as Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi met American University of Bahrain (AUB) President Dr Bradley J. Cook and Royal University for Women (RUW) President Professor Yusra Mouzughi.
Al Sairafi stressed the diversity of higher academic programs in Bahrain, noting the support of educational tourism that provides more study options for students, based on the quality indicator of education and training in the performance of higher education institutions.
She pointed out that exchanging experiences will enhance the growth of educational tourism in the Kingdom.The Minister noted that higher education institutions in Bahrain are working to develop the international student system, to provide distinguished educational services, and integrate tourism into the educational plans.
